Another WWE Icon Falls Foul to Injury

A different veteran of WWE is injured.

Dave Meltzer stated on F4WOnline. A broken foot caused Kevin Owens to wrestle against Logan Paul on yahoo.

Meltzer stated that the injury took place during his match against Santos Escobar on SmackDown’s January 5th episode. Despite doing an angle to prepare for his match with Paul, Owens was not present at the PLE until last Saturday.

The duration of his recovery and the likelihood of being absent from television for some time is still unknown. Owens’ injury comes after Meltzer revealed that CM Punk has a torn triceps injury. Punk’s injury will necessitate surgery and he will be absent from WrestleMania due to the need for rehab.
