Before heading back to the yearly post-Christmas live event tour, WWE is giving talent and crew a Christmas gift, which means no live episode of Monday Night Raw will be broadcasted this evening.

Instead of other options, WWE has decided to showcase a top-rated episode from the company’s flagship show. The deal could be worth it. They will make a return on January 1st, and they will be doing it in stacked form with the Day 1 theme.

Previous performances: The first show on Day 1 in Atlanta was held in January 2022 at the State Farm Arena. The WWE Championship title was claimed by Brock Lesnar in the main event, as he defeated Big E and his fellow competitors Bobby Lashley, Seth Rollins, and Kevin Owens in a Fatal-Five Way match.

The plan for Lesnar was to face Roman Reigns and fight him for the Universal championship, but the match was called off because Reigned with COVID-19. Nick Khan, the President of WWE, came up with the idea for the show.

WrestleTix, a company that excels in ticket sales tracking and vendor selection, reports that the show has sold 10,585 tickets with only 132 lefts, giving it tally of 10,717. The number of tickets sold in the previous week has reached 434. The WWE team’s most recent visit to the location was on July 4th, 2022, for a Raw episode, which had 6,121 fans in attendance.

Seth Rollins, the World Heavyweight Champion, plays Drew McIntyre while Rhea Ripley, also a Women’s World Champion and Becky Lynch is scheduled to defend against Ivy Nile on tape this year. The trio of Nia Jax, along with Natalya and Tegan Nox.
