First Post-WWE Bout for Shelton Benjamin Pits Him Against Leading TNA Talent

Shelton Benjamin is slated to take on his first fight after being formally released by WWE in the month of October It’s going to be an exciting match when he enters the ring alongside one of the biggest TNA Wrestling superstars.

Benjamin’s initial run with WWE began in 2000, when he visited OVW to train. He was invited to join the main roster by 2002 in which he was a part of Team Angle and found a lot of success together with Charlie Haas as a tag team that held the Tag Team titles. Benjamin was the holder of the Intercontinental three times since they broke up and also The US Title once. In the year 2010 and then returned in 2017 which was the year he enjoyed a lengthy time alongside Chad Gable and then part of The Hurt Business together with MVP Cedric Alexander and Bobby Lashley.

Benjamin’s final WWE match was on 14th of September 2023 part of Main Event, where he was paired with Alexander to host The Viking Raiders. He was released in September.

Prestige Wrestling has announced that Benjamin will be wrestling Josh Alexander at the Los Angeles Alive or Just Breathing event on May 16 at The Vermont Hollywood in LA.
