Rob Van Dam Open to Inducting Paul Heyman, Yet Acknowledges Potential for a More Fitting Choice

On the latest episode of 1 of a Kind, Rob Van Dam, WWE Hall of Famer, discussed who might be selected to induct Paui Heyman into the HOF. Many fans on social media have expressed their support for Kayla Braxton and proposed that ECW should take the title.

If Paul Heyman were to enter the WWE Hall of Fame, what would be his response? I believe it’s giving him the flowers he deserves. Paul’s involvement in ECW has given me a personal appreciation for his hands-on approach to developing superstars, connecting with talent, and sharing their weaknesses. It’s clear that ECW would not have occurred without his presence. The F’N show could have been possible without Paul. I found it enjoyable to watch WWE wrestlers treat Paul with the same respect they did when he was in ECW.
“Is it possible for someone better than Paul Heyman to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame,” RVD suggests. If I were nominated and asked to do it, that would be an honor, and I’d give it my all. My desire is to hear from other wrestlers who should have been chosen more than I am. Paul is not as well-known among Dreamer, Bubba, and Taz. They were present in New York. I would come across him on the weekend. They would see him throughout the week, working in the office and production studio, assisting in TV promotion, merchandise sales, and town bookings. All things. That’s it, they really worked with him. Prior to ECW, he was in charge of numerous wrestlers. A few of them could recount some enjoyable anecdotes about Paul’s transition from selling programs to managing talent. Sorry if that’s not correct, but it was like that. I’m not sure if the Samoans are proficient in their English, but there are definitely others. I have included Shane Douglas, a franchise owner, on my list. Their relationship is a mystery to me, but that’s how I feel. I’d be honored. Certainly, I would do it. I would like to hear from everyone else, but I feel like I only know one or two sides of Paul.
