Vince McMahon has resigned from his positions at TKO, which include being the company’s Executive Chairman and serving on the Board of Directors, as reported late Friday.

McMahon announced his resignation via Deadline, stating that he would step down from his position and leave the company in an act of respect for the WWE Universe, TKO’s board members, shareholders, partners, and employees. The news was confirmed by WWE President Nick Khan through an email to staff, following a lawsuit against him for being implicated in alleged sexual trafficking and abuse by he former employee. TKO submitted a statement on Monday morning regarding McMahon’s resignation, which can be read as the SEC filing. McMahon communicated to the board of directors of TKO Group Holdings, Inc. With immediate effect from January 26, 2024, TKO will be renouncing his positions as Executive Chair and Board member along with any other employment or other positions held by him at the company.
