WWE Currently Plans the Comeback of a Ex Star

The pro wrestling free agency market is set to boom in 2024, as the top promotions’ contracts expire.

Besides Andrade, who has been absent from the WWE for a while, Trinity, also known as Naomi in WWE, is expected to return to the company after undergoing re-entry.

Trinity and Mercedes Mone left WWE in May 2022 due to differences in creativity. Following their suspension, they were released after negotiating their release. Impact Wrestling welcomed Trinity, while Mone signed with NJPW.

Mone’s attempts to have a comeback with WWE were unsuccessful. The AEW she is expected to complete soon. It was reported earlier this week that Trinity will be ending his contract with TNA as a free agent in the near future. Hard to Kill next Saturday will see her defend her Knockouts Title. According to Dave Meltzer, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE sources have confirmed that her return was “expected and in the current plans.” Meltzer stated that there had been informal discussions with her for almost a year, and those in TNA anticipated this would happen once her contract was concluded.
