At 8 PM EST, the live coverage of the WWE NXT: NUT Underground Match featuring Eddy Thorpe, Dijak, and NUST Trophy Noam Dar. Chase was confined. Josh Briggs defeated Noam Dar, who was crowned champion in the NXT Heritage Cup and faced off against him in Round 1 with no fall. The referee’s back was behind Briggs, who managed to hit him without falling in Round 3. Briggs intercepted Mensa’s bucket as he slid it in the ring. The winner of the Male Superstar award, Noam Dar (who had previously won the Tony Award for best actor), was disqualified after Briggs hit her head with the bucket. Breakker supported him. Before speaking, Breakker advised Frazier to slow down. I won’t be slowing down, as per Frazier’s statement. Breakker stated that I would not be affected by your speed or high flying ability. Frazier instructed us to test my effectiveness and see if we can use your spear to catch me. Breakker advised to be cautious about what you request and then walked away.
Match between Karmen Petrovic and Cora Jade
A man kicks Jades head first and then punches her with both legs. Petrovic was punched by Jade with a DDT. Jade kicked Petrovic and was about to execute another DDT when Gigi Dolin ran to the ring and left after the match. Cora Jade’s NXT Breakout Tournament Semi-Final match saw Riley Osborne King and Lexis King put pressure on Osie. Trey Bearhill’s arrival at ringside caused King to lose focus while he was preparing to supercharge Osborne. Osborne forced King off the turnbuckle, provided him with a shooting star press, and punched him. King was attacked by Bearhill after the game. Ilja Dragunov has not been heard from since Monday when Ava won the show backstage. Despite this, Riley Osborne is on his way and must decide whether his match at New Year’s Eve is still ongoing.
Nathan Frazier and Bron Breakker
The top rope collided with Nathan Frazier, causing Bron Breakker to close in on him and catch him with a slam. Frazier was able to catch Breakker’s kick after he charged at him. Breakker landed his spear on Frazier’s back and held him down. At New Year’s Evil Backstage, Bron Breakker Backward, No Quarter Catch and the LWO were crowned winners in a tag team competition. Brooks Jensen suggested that Briggs could have won the Heritage Cup with the help of Fallon Henley. He informed Briggs that he has the intention of becoming a singles player and recommended Henley to take on Tiffany Stratton’s challenge in the upcoming week. Their time together was decided to end, as they will both separate, and their relationship remains a family one, with mutual love. Arianna Grace told Ava backstage that Roxanne Perez should be taking anger management classes. Grace pondered what comes next. According to Ava, Roxanne is scheduled to compete against Arianna in New Year’s Evil. Lyra Valkyria and Blair Davenport revealed in a personal interview that they will compete against each other at New Year’s Evil. In the NXT Breakout Tournament Semi-Final Match, Oba Femi had a overhead suplex against Tavion Heights Heights. Heights was hemmed in by Femi. Heights was thrown by Femi and dropped onto the mat. Femi dropped a pop-up powerbomb on Heights. Oba Femi Ilja Dragunov was seen in the parking lot and announced her search for Trick Williams.
Joe Coffey (with Mark Cockey & Wolfgang) and Joe Gacy
The Uranage was awarded to Joe Coffey (with Mark Cockey & Wolfgang) and Joe Gacy for his two-count challenge. At ringside, Hank Walker and Tank Ledger engaged in a brawl with Mark and Wolfgang to the back. Joe pushed Gacy headfirst. With a stretcher, Gacy held down Joe. No Quarter Catch was challenged by Joe Gacy, who won the contest. Elektra Lopez and Lola Vice were present. Vice chuckled and expressed their happiness to see Joaquin Wilde, Cruz Del Toro, and Lopez again. A Manifest Destiny DDT was dropped on Dijak Thorpe during their NXT Underground Match match. While on the ring steps, Thorpe kept a sleeping Dijak from finishing with him. Thorpe administered an implanted DDT to Dijak at the announce desk, resulting in his demise. Eddy Thorpe Trick Williams inquired of Ilja Dragunov if she could wrestle at New Years Evil and suggested that they could extend the match. He is beyond control, as stated by Dragunov. After removing the neckbrace, Dragunov signed the contract and they shook hands.
