During her podcast appearance, Mone discussed her return from a career-threatening ankle injury, for which she underwent surgery, and expressed her belief in eventually returning to WWE. These comments raised eyebrows, especially given their timing, as they emerged just days before her AEW debut.

However, Mone’s remarks didn’t resonate positively with everyone. She also elaborated on her decision to depart from WWE, citing creative differences with Vince McMahon.
