Brock Lesnar Omitted from WWE Intro/Opening Video

WWE continues to move away and from Brock Lesnar, with the latest instance being seen on the Friday’s episode of SmackDown.

Cause

Lesnar was eliminated from all WWE’s plans after the lawsuit for sex trafficking which was filed against Vince McMahon and WWE, with an ex-UFC/WWF Heavyweight Champion listed in the complaint as well as in the Wall Street Journal identified Lesnar as the former champion.

The plans also include matches in WrestleMania 40, the Royal Rumble, Elimination Chamber and WrestleMania 40. WWE has removed the wrestler out of his role in the WWE 2K Supercard mobile game as well as from his WWE 2K24 Forty Years of WrestleMania edition cover.

Distance

As we previously reported, Lesnar will be downplayed and could be removed from WWE licensing content starting from today. WWE has no plans to utilize his name on TV.

As can be seen as below WWE is replacing Lesnar by LA Knight in the intro video that is shown on all the WWE shows. If you don’t blink at the wrong time, you’ll not notice the change while watching the show.
