Brock Lesnar's removal from the WWE Royal Rumble, several alterations in WrestleMania Arrangements

As we reported the night before in the broadcast of Wrestling Observer Radio, Bron Breakker was the man who replaced Brock Lesnar in the Men’s Rumble match. Lesnar was ejected because he was mentioned as a possible replacement in an article in the Wall Street Journal story that included Janel Grant’s case to WWE as well as Vince McMahon.

Dave Meltzer wrote today that there has been a variety of changes to WrestleMania within the last couple of days. Meltzer wrote “The method of explaining it to me was that it’s about the creative plans of Brock Lesnar and a domino result when the decision was taken at the last moment to not include Lesnar in the event because of his lawsuit.”

It was originally planned to allow Lesnar to wrestle Dominik Mysterio in The Elimination Chamber PLE in Australia. There was also a plan for Lesnar against. GUNTHER at WrestleMania and it was likely to be to be for The Intercontinental Title. It’s not yet clear whether these matches will be handed to Breakker. Breakker spoke to Cathy Kelley after the Rumble match, and he said he was on”the “main team” being his “home” team, which suggests it could be the official reason for his invitation to join.

If they do decide to make a decision to bring Lesnar back It doesn’t appear that Lesnar will be a part of WrestleMania. WrestleMania card. Dave Meltzer also noted that all of the Breakker eliminations and spots the night before were originally scheduled to be a surprise for Lesnar.

The following matches remain scheduled in the coming WrestleMania 40. IYO SKY vs. Bayley for the Women’s Title, Rhea Ripley against. Becky Lynch for the Women’s World Title, Seth Rollins and. CM Punk for the World Title, Roman Reigns against. Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed Universal Title. The match between the Rock vs. Roman Reigns is expected to occur “later,” per Meltzer.
