Key Player Exits WWE SmackDown Faction

The news was made public last night on WWE Friday Night SmackDown it was announced that the head of an WWE faction has resigned from being in the WWE group.

Wade Barrett announced during the broadcast that AJ Styles is no longer in The OC (Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson, and Michin). It was evident to anyone who’s been following Styles’ return to action weeks ago, but this is the first time that it’s been confirmed. It’s been reported that the OC Styles and the OC Styles haven’t been in sync for a long time.

For what the future holds for the OC, it looks like they’ll stay in the same band, as their name came in a post-show clip which featured Cedric Alexander, and Ashante “Thee Adonis.”

WWE creative hasn’t really been given much to do in the past year, as they haven’t fought on TV since the beginning of August. Styles, Gallows, and Anderson have wrestled at home shows back in the month of December. They wrestled to Pretty Deadly and Grayson Waller. In another show, they wrestled The Street Profits.Styles is being promoted to be a leading singles performer since his return to action and was most recently one of four wrestlers in The Fatal 4-Way at the Royal Rumble in which the trio of him, LA Knight, and Randy Orton challenged for Roman Reigns’ Undisputed Universal Championship.
