Fresh Tag Team Emerges on SmackDown Roster in WWE

A brand-new tag team will join on the WWE SmackDown roster.

Following the show last night, WWE posted a video on their social media channels that shows Cedric Alexander as well as Ashante “”The”” Adonis joining together as a team. The group said they’re putting all players on their roster in the spotlight and spoke of Pretty Deadly, The Judgment Day as well as The OC as teams that they are pursuing. Adonis suggests “Rags as well as riches” as the team’s name.

WWE creative hasn’t been a fan of Adonis and Alexander after their respective teams were split. Alexander was a part of The Hurt Business stable and was a former tag team champion. Adonis was previously part of Hit Row. The group split following the release of Top Dolla was released and B-Fab moved into the stable of Bobby Lashley.

Alexander and Adonis have both been via The NXT program and they are thought to be Triple H guys. Alexander was signed a few years ago following his stellar performances during The Cruiserweight Classic and fans chanted for Triple H to sign him to an agreement.
