Men’s Royal Rumble Match Cody Rhodes is winner

Cody Rhodes can now say that he’s the Royal Rumble winner as he beat another 29 WWE stars in the 30-Man Royal Rumble match, earning an invitation to a championship game during WrestleMania at 40 on April.

Jey Uso, Jimmy Uo kicked things off. Grayon Waller came out at 3rd while cutting an promo as he walked to the arena. After being superkicked off the apron Waller delivered a flatliner for Jey. Andrade made it to #4, followed by Carmelo Hayes and Shinsuke Nakamura.

Santos Escobar entered at #7 and attempted to form an alliance Andrade before turning against the latter. Karrion Kross followed him out and teamed up along with Jimmy and double-teamed Jey. Dominik Mysterio was booed out from the venue as he left. Carlito is at the number 10, as well as Bobby Lashley at #11. Kross along with Lashley were both eliminated. AOP was out to take on Lashley but only for Street Profits to make the savings. Ludwig Kaiser was out at 12 and later Austin Theory. Finn Balor made his entry at number 14, where he eliminated Hayes. Cody Rhodes made his way after him to smash Theory with a knife and eliminated Theory. Bron Reed ranked 16 and was eliminated Andrade by using the backdrop. Kofi Kingston broke records by advancing to his 16th Rumble just one shy of Kane’s previous record of 18. Cody was able to Cross Rhodes to Nakamura for the win. Kofi using a springboard kick to remove Kaiser. GUNTHER was out at number 18 to eliminate Kofi. Ivar was next, then the NXT’s Bron Breakker. Jimmy Balor and Jimmy Balor have been eliminated through Bron. Omos was ranked 21 and was eliminated Reed. Bron took out Ivar to eliminate Ivar. Pat McAfee was #23 and was then eliminated by himself. Bron Eliminated Omos using the help of a clothesline. Dom eliminated Breakker. JD McDonah came in at 23rd place. It appears that McAfee was not actually a participant. Bron took a spear to JD before entering the arena. R-Truth ranked at #24. He threw JD to the floor as well as Jey eliminated JD immediately. Dom received the tag from R-Truth who believed he was participating in the ring in a match between a tag team match.The Miz was #25 then Damian Priest, who eliminated Truth in a flash. CM Punk was number 27 and got rid of Dom. Ricochet was #28. GUNTHER got rid of Miz by chop. Drew McIntyre was #29.

GUNTHER got rid of Jey. Sami Zayn was #30. Drew was able to throw Ricochet from the Ring. Zayn lined Priest from the rings, and then Drew released Zayn. Final four were Rhodes, Punk, GUNTHER and McIntyre. Punk defeated Drew. Cody defeated GUNTHER which means we’re left with two. Punk and Cody were back and forth for a time. Punk had an ancestral lineage. Cody shut down the GTS and threw out Punk.
