Milestone Attained: IYO SKY Crowned WWE Women’s Champion

IYO SKY is continuing to advance her career, and reign as the WWE Women’s Champion. Her career has taken off in the past year thanks to her return. She was part of a group with Bayley and Dakota Kai for SummerSlam 2020.

SKY was a success in NXT, before she was called up to WWE’s main roster. She held Tag Team Gold with the faction. SKY won her first WWE Women’s Championship at SummerSlam last year after she cashed in a Money in the Bank deal on Bianca Belair following a triple-threat match with Asuka, Charlotte Flair and Charlotte Flair.

SKY continues to be pushed on TV as a prominent superstar with the group. She has maintained her title against several top stars including Belair. SKY was last seen on TV on January 5th, when she defeated Michin. In November, at Crown Jewel, she successfully defended her PLE title against Belair.

SKY is celebrating 200 days of being the Women’s Champion.

SKY will defend her title in a few short weeks against Bayley, at WrestleMania forty in April. The faction has turned on their former leader.
