The return of a released WWE talent marked their debut in a wrestling ring

WWE let several stars go of their contracts in September, due to budget cuts after the merger of WWE as well as UFC to create TKO The stars were split, with some moving into NJPW while others joined TNA Wrestling and the rest in the independent world.

The ones who were let go are Matt Riddle Elias, Dana Brooke, Dolph Ziggler, Shelton Benjamin, and Mustafa Ali. For Elias who has returned, he’s returned to the Ring.

The departure

Elias was a wrestler for WWE between 2014 and 2023. There, the first time he appeared was as a member of NXT under the name of the ring Elias Samson and was played as musician. He joined WWE’s main roster during 2017 using the Elias name, but then went off the roster in 2021.

The following April, he returned but as Elias his younger brother, named Ezekiel. He removed his locks and cut the beard. In the very year, the actor had been taken off the air again, only to return as Elias and later released.

Return

Elias, who is now known as Elijah was the wrestler who won his first post-WWE match Wrestling REVOLVER which is an independent organization in Their Whatashow show on the night of Saturday. There, Elijah wrestled”Speedball” from TNA’s “Speedball” Mike Bailey for the first time in his life.
