WrestleMania's Bid for Sylvester Stallone's Appearance May Face Obstacles

WWE might have a hard time capitalize on the idea of bringing the in Sylvester Stallone for something special at WrestleMania 40.

Stallone is associated with wrestling particularly Hulk Hogan, as Hogan was in Rocky III as Thunderlips, and the legendary film star was received the honor of inducting Hogan in the WWE Hall of Fame in 2005. Stallone is also a fan of Philadelphia because Rocky III is his favorite Rocky franchise is associated with the city hosting WrestleMania forty in the month of April.

WrestleVotes first reported that WWE is interested in collaborating with Stallone at the show however details of the specifics of what he’d do were not discussed.

In the most recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer stated that it is not looking good for an appearance to take place.

Meltzer wrote “Those who work at WWE confirm the talks but they also said that some time earlier this week Stallone has stated that there is an issue with the schedule, so the deal hasn’t been concluded unless you have the ability or desire to end any conflict.”
