Wrestler Previously Absent from WWE Hints at Ring Comeback

WWE could be bringing back a prominent absent star soon, as has been expected since a long time.

Sheamus is out with a shoulder problem. His last match was a loss against Edge on SmackDown’s 18th August. He was a mid-carder for a few years and paired with Butch Holland and Ridge Holland.

In WrestleMania 39, he was in a feud with Drew McIntyre for the Intercontinental Title. Butch is now back under the Pete Dunne moniker while Holland is still in NXT.

He was expected to make a return during the Royal Rumble last month, which is known for its surprises, such as injured talent returning, or legendary wrestlers making an appearance. Sheamus did not make a comeback, as Sami Zayn had done after being away from television. What stopped that return is still unknown.

Sheamus teased his fans with the following video, making them think that he might be returning to TV soon.
