WWE NXT TV Tapings Witness Shotzi’s Injury

WWE recorded an episode of NXT following this week’s show that was broadcast from Orlando, Florida, on Tuesday night. Unfortunately, Shotzi suffered what appears to be an injury that is serious.

On the show on Tuesday there was a teaser that Shotzi was scheduled to take the chance to take on Lyra Valkyria to compete in an NXT Women’s Championship before the match was scheduled for the next show and it was taped during the second round of tapings.

WWE moved forward in the match during the tapings, but she was injured in the knee when Shotzi tried to take an DDT in the arena of her championship match. In the end, the match was halted, and Shotzi was helped back.

The Fightful’s Corey Brennan was the first to announce the injury. WWE had made an announcement Shotzi to compete in the possibility of an Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match with Tiffany Stratton on this week’s WWE SmackDown. But, the match could be in danger.

We hope for Shotzi a quick recovery.
