WWE Royal Rumble Recap: Roman Reigns Overcomes Fatal 4-Way to Maintain Undisputed Universal Championship

Indisputable WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns in a match with. LA Knight vs. AJ Styles vs. Randy Orton in a fatal four-way match at the WWE Royal Rumble premium live event in Tampa, FL at Tropicana Field.

They jumped Reigns in order to start things off, then they got into fights. Reigns assumed the reigns of cleaning the rings and was able to miss the superman punch. Knight hit a few shots. Knight tried pins against Reigns as well as Orton. Knight was able to catch Styles in the ropes on top, and then hit the superplex. Knight hit a brutal force trauma to Reigns, but AJ stopped his pin attempts. AJ hit Reigns with a style clash but Knight ended his pin effort. Orton by draping the DDT to Knight after which he snatched AJ and landed the top rope with an RKO on the top rope. Orton hit an RKO to Knight and Reigns who was looking to hit a superman kick. When Orton was trying to protect Reigns’ line of attack, Solo Sikoa pulled out the referee. Solo lay out Orton with a spike, before laying him out with the Knight. Solo fell through the barricade while AJ moved. AJ struck the incredible forearm to Reigns who fell over Knight as well as Orton for the chance of a near-fall. Reigns hit a spear at Orton and Orton, who then Knight put his foot on Reigns and slammed him with his elbow down. Knight tried to finish him and Reigns was able to push him off the ropes and knocked Styles from the rope on top. Reigns hits a spear at Styles for victory.
