Apology by Velveteen Dream to WWE, Friends, Family, and Fans
WWE/Velveteen Dream has spoken

Patrick Clark, the man who was previously was known in the film The Velveteen Dream, has admitted to his mistakes from the past.

Past issues

Clark was alleged to have had inappropriate contact with minors between 2020. He initially released an apology, stating that Clark worked with the authorities in resolving the issue. This led to him being cited only once during his time on NXT TV.

His last match was to Adam Cole in December 2020. Clark also experienced backstage rage with many individuals in NXT due to his behaviour before his release in 2021.

He was arrested August 26th, 2022, following his earlier arrest on 20th August for the misdemeanor charge of trespassing and battery in connection with the arrest on August 26th was because of an out-of-county warrant relating to the possession of drugs and other paraphernalia.

Dream is also accused of filming wrestling partners in their bathrooms, without their permission, in addition to his arrests, allegations of naivety in matches, health violations as well as other issues.

As can be seen here, Dream posted an apology on Instagram in which he pleaded with Triple H, Shawn Michaels as well as his fans and company to accept his apology for previous issues.

You’ve probably read or heard in the past couple of years. I’m sorry for my conduct as a person and professionally. I constantly preach to those closest to me on the importance to be accountable and responsible and I am fully accountable for my conduct in the past 3 years in my own life. When stories of me were published, it didn’t matter. It wasn’t a matter of the story that was said about me. It wasn’t a factor in what was said about me. I don’t care what’s written on websites about me. I did something wrong, right? In the wake of that, I must apologize to a couple of people.

In the beginning, I would like apologize in front of WWE for any offense I may have caused to the WWE organization. I’d like to apologize for you and the WWE company for any negative media attention or negative publicity I have caused to your brand as well as your products. I am sorry for the WWE fans and the Velveteen Dream fans because when you hear about Velveteen Dream, it should be discussed positively and in a positive manner. It’s not the name Patrick Clark as another statistic of what happens when potential and talent meet impermanence. That’s not what you’ll be spending your hard-earned dollars on. It’s not something you put your time and cash in. When you turn on the TV and go into the programs, it’s best to be able to escape reality and not have to face my reality. I would like apologize for the WWE and to the fans. I would like to express my regrets for my actions to Paul Levesque. Paul You are an understanding and patient person and leader. And having the chance to work alongside you and take lessons by you. am able to get an understanding of the person you are today and how you’ve managed to take on the responsibility to be in spotlight for so long. I’d like to express my regret at your expense, Paul. I’m sorry. In addition, I’d like to express my sincere condolences for Shawn Michaels. Shawn It’s still a mystery to me to have had the chance to gain knowledge from you, and to receive your guidance and direction. I am sorry if feel that it was a waste of time or time and energy in investing in me. I haven’t. I’m still a work-in-progress development. It’s still a process of learning. And I’m able to remember all the lessons I’ve learned from you. Shawn I’m sorry.” Then, Shawn expressed his regrets to his closest friend.

Dream continued “I want to apologize to my family: my mom, my dad, my brother, my sister, my nieces, and my nephews. Because you may read things, you may hear about things, you may be confronted by people who you don’t know. And you might feel the need to explain yourselves on my behalf. I just want you to know that you do not have to do that ever. No one should have to explain anything for Patrick Clark. No one should have to trend because of Patrick Clark. No one should have to ask, you know, to answer the questions. ‘Where is Patrick now? What did Patrick do? What happened with Patrick?’ That’s not your responsibility. And I don’t want you to feel burdened with that responsibility. That’s my responsibility, okay? And I apologize to you all for any energy. Negative energy that has had to come your way because of me. Okay. Again, I want to apologize to the fans and those in my professional and personal life that I’ve affected by my behavior. I’m sorry. I recognize that I was losing myself, and I apologize to anyone that I lost along the way. Anyone that I’ve upset or offended because of my behavior. Man, I’m sorry, and I hope you all forgive me. Thank you.”
