Hospitalization for Kota Ibushi Due to injuries at a Pro Wrestling NOAH Show

Pro Wrestling NOAH held its New Year 2024 show today featuring one of the biggest singles bouts with Naomichi Marufuji and KotaIbushi.

The match

The fight lasted for more than 30 minutes, before Ibushi fell at the end. There were a few rough areas in the fight which drew criticism from a few fans. One of them was when Ibushi tried to do an outward moon Sault. After landing on his ankle.

As per Sports Hochi Ibushi was injured to both ankles in the early stages of the match and had to be admitted to an emergency medical facility in Tokyo. As can be seen in the video below, he fell unconscious following the game, but it was possible to get him to the backstage area by himself suffering from extreme discomfort.
