Breaking News: Ex-WWE Star Surfaces at Impact Tapings, Teases Showdown for Rebellion Title

TNA Wrestling is gearing up for its next major pay-per-view event, Rebellion, scheduled for April 20th, and the anticipation is building with the announcement of several marquee matchups.

Headlining the event will be a showdown between TNA World Champion Moose and Nic Nemeth. Additionally, fans can look forward to thrilling clashes such as TNA World Tag Team Champion The System taking on Speedball Mountain, TNA X-Division Champion Mustafa Ali facing off against Jake Something, and Eric Young going head-to-head with Frankie Kazarian in a Full Metal Mayhem Match.

Excitement reached new heights at Friday’s TNA Impact TV tapings when the return of former talent Steph De Lander was confirmed. Previously known as “Persia Pirotta” during her tenure in WWE NXT from 2021-2022, De Lander is set to make a triumphant comeback.

During her time with WWE, De Lander engaged in a heated rivalry with Toxic Attraction, culminating in a Women’s Tag Team Match alongside Indie Hartwell. After parting ways with WWE, she transitioned to TNA Wrestling, where she embraced a villainous persona and engaged in a memorable feud with Jordynne Grace before moving on. Notably, she also made a cameo appearance in AEW, competing on an episode of Dark against Marina Shafir.

At the recent tapings, De Lander showcased her prowess by defeating a formidable lineup of competitors including Dani Luna, Rosemary, Xia Brookside, Havok, Masha Slamovich, Jody Threat, and Alisha Edwards. With this impressive victory, she secured the #1 contender spot for the Knockouts Title, setting the stage for an electrifying championship clash against Jordynne Grace at Rebellion.
