AEW has Engaged in discussions with a Former TNA Champion

AEW The president of AEW Tony Khan has publicly talked about his plans to be active in the free market this year and aiming to help boost the women’s section. One of the notable free agents could just be what he’s been looking for.

Her journey

Deonna Purrazzo joined WWE in the year 2018 and was with WWE for two years until she was let go in April of 2020. She then became a part of Impact Wrestling. Purrazzo has seen many wins in various promotions, such as she’s held events such as the Impact Wrestling Knockouts, AAA Reina De Reinas, and ROH Women’s Titles.

Her contract to TNA Wrestling expired at the beginning of the year. she’s now free and clear to speak with other promotions.

The future

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select said that a variety of companies have shown interest in the actress. Many sources said there had held internal talks in AEW with Purrazzo and they’re hoping they’ll be able to land her.

It was also reported the AEW was her favorite place to land when she was finishing with TNA.

She’s had conversations with WWE However, sources within the organization said “most if not all of their free agent discussions had been tabled until the new year started.”
