Swerve Strickland against. Dustin Rhodes took place at the AEW Worlds End pay-perview event at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Long Island, New York. Keith Lee was Swerve’s original opponent, but he is a scratch late because Lee has not been cleared by his medical team to participate.

The fight never got underway due to the fact that Swerve took on him before the fight began. Outside of the ring Swerve jumped out to stomp his foot twice on Rhodes feet because Prince Nana had a camera beneath it. The moment the bell rang, Swerve hit him with an enormous boot. Rhodes made a comeback, including hitting the DDT before Swerve knocked him out by hitting a double foot kick.

Winner: Swerve Strickland
