AEW World Champion Eddie Kingston vs. Bryan Danielson was held in the AEW Revolution 2024 pay-per-view event at the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, NC.

The winner was Kingston who took home the victory after he took down the best AEW star by a powerbomb, resulting in Danielson another defeat.

Since his arrival at AEW from 2021 onwards, Danielson is a TV star who is protected. The year 2022 saw him was 24-9 before an 20-7 record and a the 6-4 mark so far in 2024.

Danielson was defeated by Hangman Page to win The World Title in January 2022 on Dynamite Then he suffered a second defeat during the AEW World Title Grand Slam Tournament Of Champions Final Match in September 2022.

He was later defeated by ROH World Champion Chris Jericho the following month. He then lost during Full Gear 2022 in a fatal four-way match, losing yet again losing to Jericho. In March of 2023 Danielson took AEW World Champion MJF over in an Iron Man Match. Danielson lost against Christian Cage that October on Collision to win TNT Title. TNT Title and then to Kingston in his most recent match.
