AEW held the Worlds End pay-per-view event on Saturday night, from Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, New York, which was the first time AEW has held a show on PPV during December.

The main event, which featured AEW World Heavyweight Champion MJF and. Samoa Joe, saw Joe take down MJF by the help of a sleeper. Following the fight, four of The Devil’s masked gang appeared and swarmed MJF prior to Cole was identified as The Devil. The masked gang members were revealed as Roderick Strong Wardlow, Matt Taven as well as Mike Bennett.

The show also included the wild no DQ Match with Adam Copeland and Christian which included a flaming table spot. When Copeland was initially the winner of TNT’s Title TNT Title, Killswitch attacked his opponent after the match and offered his prize to Cage to help him win the title.

In a press conference following an AEW Worlds’ End’s PPV show, AEW President Tony Khan said the event is expected to have sold more than 100,000 dollars in purchases with over 10,000 fans attending.

WrestleTix reports that the show sold 9,889 tickets prior to starting through Bleacher Report.
