Ric Flair sees on MJF: “He may be the next Randy Orton”

Ric Flair has high hopes for MJF, who is set to defend his title against Samoa Joe at the Worlds End pay-per-view event this week, ending a successful year in 2023.

Flair, who has been friends with Randy Orton for years, gave MJF some high praise in an interview with The Wrestling Classic.

“MJF is the number one, in my opinion.” Flair stated that he appears as confident in real life as a person who performs well in the interview. He looks great. He put in a lot of effort. His confidence in real life is akin to that on TV, and I believe he has an open future. The next Randy Orton could be him. It’s a level of praise that I can offer him.

Upon being asked if he would be interested in joining AEW, Flair expressed his excitement to represent Sting during his final run.

Flair said, “I like working, period. I’ve known Tony [Khan],. Sting was likely the catalyst for our chance to become great friends. I’ll be present for a few years now, so I can’t say what it is that leads to. My goal is to govern my son-in-law [Andrade], and I want to be a heel again someday. I’m doing well. I’ve been released. The ring is within my reach. Wrestling is not on my agenda. It’s worth clarifying. Had become drained from that subject. It’s something I really like. Tony is a fantastic guy and the setting is spot on, leaving me surprised by the presence of WWE wrestlers from eight different divisions. They have a formidable team and Edge is coming over. Their talent is comparable to that of the WWE.
