Sting, as described by Booker T, persevered against the odds, refusing to succumb to the negativity of those who doubted his abilities

Booker T had a lot of positive things to say about his buddy Sting on the latest edition of the “Hall of Fame” podcast. Sting is scheduled to wrestle in his final match this Sunday in the AEW Revolution pay-per-view.

Booker T on Sting saying Sting could not have made this feat on AEW Without Darby Allin:

“Sting has a modest guy. It’s not likely to be any of the guys who have a lot of negative comments to make about Sting. He’s as humble as you can get and I’m certain that he’s feeling a certain manner about the last show and truthfully, I’m not sure that it would have been possible without Darby.

Booker added, “Darby, literally, was the person who was out doing the majority of the work and still representing Sting in the process and still placing Sting on the pedestal and still watching Sting as the ultimate mentor. I could not have picked the better job in the business world than being Sting’s right-hand person. Do you think about that as youngster, watching Sting doing his thing for a number of years, and then next thing you’re doing is tag-teaming with Sting? I understand this 100 percent, so a big thank you to Sting. The singer is preparing to end his day and go off into the sunset. The thing that makes it unique is the way he went about it. He was able to do it in his own way. He refused to let anyone say he was incapable of doing it, even though so many said he shouldn’t. Also, big praises to Sting. Big props.”
