The Decision for Scott D’Amore to Leave TNA Was Made Long Before Its Public Revelation

More information will come out on TNA Wrestling announcement it has announced that Scott D’Amore is out as the TNA President. Anthony Cicione has replaced him and has left talent unhappy with the management.

The move

The former executive was well-liked during the promotions. D’Amore was in a disagreement with management prior to his departure and, as Len Asper, the head of Anthem who was in charge, had the final decision and D’Amore was the one who was sacked.

There is a rumor that, at some point during the past few months, he approached Anthem offering to purchase TNA in full of the support of a large bank. However, the proposal was not accepted because Anthem is prepared to continue by advancing the deal.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select said in Fightful Select that “the wheels were already in motion to end D’Amore’s contract one month earlier. D’Amore was adamant that she did not want to quit TNA however Anthem had indicated that they would make it appear as an unofficial departure.”

D’Amore wasn’t keen to refer to it in this way However, company executives thought the words were in the best interests of D’Amore. D’Amore offered to purchase TNA prior to his dismissal, but it was not revealed to the public.
